Many of our clients seek out this treatment due to it’s non-invasive and effective nature. The Laser Genesis treatment utilises a non-invasive laser technology to safely, treat fine lines, wrinkles, diffused redness, acne and acne scarring. Laser Genesis works by gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface and stimulating collagen to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Please contact us to discuss specific treatment requirements.
What can I expect pre treatment? On arrival you will be asked to complete a consultation form, this helps us to collect necessary information about your skin, medical history and treatments you have recently had. In our private treatment room, your Clinician will go over your consultation form and make sure you are suitable for treatment. Here your Clinician will guide you through the need-to-know information regarding your treatment, create an individualised treatment plan and explain post treatment care. This is an opportunity for you to discuss any questions or concerns that you may have. During your consultation your Clinician will also recommend any products you may need to start using prior to your treatment to ensure your skin is well prepped and to reduce the possibility of adverse reactions.
What does the procedure feel like?Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic. You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure as the laser handpiece is moved back and forth about half an inch above your skin. The advantage of laser treatment is that you can return to normal activities right after treatment. Applying sunscreen frequently after this treatment is vital to a successful outcome.
What areas can be treated?Laser Genesis is an ideal treatment for the face and neck. Additionally, your Clinician may suggest this treatment to diminish recent scars or sun damage on other parts of the body.
What can I expect post treatment? You may experience redness and mild swelling directly after your treatment, however many patients find that this subsides within a few hours.
